（Fleetwood Mac Unleashed for major spring reunion tour）

For the first time in five years, Fleetwood Mac has reunited, with Mick Fleetwood, Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham and John McVie from the classic Rumoursera lineup. The group recently embarked on a threemonth U.S. tour in support of its new best-of CD, Unleashed. During the group’s pre-tour rehearsals, company president Dr. Michael Santucci was flown out to L.A. to take ear impressions and advise the group. “Stevie Nicks is a huge fan of the ProPhonic 2X-S,” explains Rachel Adkins, “so when it was time to get earphones, we called Michael.” Adkins handles all the in-ear mixes for the band, splitting monitor engineering duties with Ed Dracoulis. Adkins, who stopped by Sensaphonics during the group’s recent 2-day run in Chicago, is a big fan of the Sensaphonics dB Check in-ear sound level analyzer as well. “I love using it as a reference, so I know exactly how loud my artist is listening to the in-ear mix,” she explains. “I run a dB Check at the console during the show so I can see how loud it’s getting.” To do this, Adkins sets up an extra IEM pack, matching the artist’s level and patch. “During sound checks, I put the dB Check in Mic Mode and hang it from the mic stand to see how loud it is acoustically, right where the artist is standing. I love it!”
