DAVE MATTHEWS SIGNED ‘RHINOCEROS’GUITAR NOW AT AUCTION
A one-of-a-kind guitar with original artwork and autograph from Dave Matthews is now at auction to benefit the American Academy of Audiology Foundation (AAAF). The guitar, a solid-body Ibanez, was donated to the foundation by Sensaphonics president Michael Santucci. The AAAF Auction 4 Audiology, now in its fifth year online, is being conducted in conjunction with the annual AudiologyNOW! Conference, and is open to the public. The auction is hosted by biddingowl.com and is live now through Friday, April 15.
Proceeds from sale of the guitar will go toward supporting research, education and public awareness in audiology and hearing science, including music-specific hearing research. “Hearing wellness through evidence-based science is our mission at Sensaphonics, and we’re happy to work with the Foundation to fund much-needed research,” says Sensaphonics President, Dr. Michael Santucci. “We’d also like to thank Dave Matthews, who went above and beyond the requested autograph by adorning the guitar with his original artwork. It is, literally, a pricelessly unique item, and it benefits a great cause.”
Auction 4 Audiology is operated by the American Academy of Audiology Foundation, an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is the promotion of philanthropy in support of research, education, and public awareness in audiology and hearing science. All donation are tax deductible.

そのギターは、ソリッドボディー（空洞のない単板形成のボディ構造）のIbanez「アイバニーズ」（日本の楽器メーカー星野楽器のギター、ベースのブランド）で、センサフォニクスの代表マイケル・サントゥッチ氏から財団に寄付されました。
AAAF Auction 4 Audiology(聴覚学のためのAAAFオークション）は、今やオンラインで５年目を迎え、例年のAudiology Now!（聴覚学を今！）会議と連結して行われており、一般にも公開されています。
オークションはbiddingowl.comで主催されており、４月１５日金曜日までオンラインライブで実施中です。
ギターの収益は聴覚学と聴覚科学、特に音楽的な聴覚研究を含んだ研究と教育と啓蒙のサポートに使われます。
「証拠をふまえた科学を通じての聴覚の健康はセンサフォニクスのミッションです。私たちは、とても必要とされている研究を支援するために財団と共に仕事ができることが嬉しいです。」とセンサフォニクスの代表のマイケル・サントゥッチ博士は語ります。
